Porto Cristo is one of the most characterful locations on Mallorca. It's a genuinely authentic fishing village rather than a purpose-built resort, and that comes through in the photos – real boats, real nets, real harbour life. Combined with the natural bay and the rocky coastline, it offers a range of backdrops that's hard to match.
The Caves of Drach are just outside Porto Cristo and are well worth visiting. We'd recommend scheduling your photo shoot in the early morning (the best light anyway) and then visiting the caves later in the day. It makes for a wonderful full day out on the east coast.
Yes – all three locations are close to each other on the east coast. Porto Cristo, Sa Coma and Cala Millor can be combined in an extended session for maximum variety. Just let us know what you're planning when you enquire.
Early morning is ideal. The harbour is at its most beautiful when the light is soft and golden and the water is still – the reflections of the boats are breathtaking. The natural bay also looks its most vivid early in the day before the sun gets too high.
