Paguera is one of Mallorca's most beautiful southwest coast resorts. The bay is sheltered and calm, the water clear, and the mountains rising behind the town create a backdrop that you simply don't see anywhere else on the island. Three distinct beaches – Platja Gran, Platja Tora and Platja la Romana – each have their own character.
Because Paguera faces west, golden hour here is genuinely golden. The sun sets over the sea in an explosion of orange and pink, lighting up the beach and the mountains simultaneously. It's one of the best spots on Mallorca for sunset shoot photography.

The main beach at Paguera is wide, sandy and very family-friendly. The calm, clear water and sheltered bay make it a wonderful setting for relaxed, natural portraits.
Sandy BeachThe fragrant pine forest that backs the beach at Paguera creates a beautiful soft-light environment. The dappled shade is ideal for portraits where you want something different from an open beach setting.
ForestSmaller and more secluded than the main beach, Playa de Tora offers a quieter, more intimate atmosphere. The rocky surroundings and clear water make it particularly beautiful in the early morning.
SecludedPaguera sits at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, and when the light is right the mountain backdrop adds dramatic scale and depth to beach portraits – something most Mallorca beach locations simply don't offer.

All three have something to offer. The main Playa de Paguera is the most open and family-friendly. Playa de Tora is quieter and more intimate. Playa Palmira is the widest and works well for group shoots. The good news is they're all close together, so we can easily include more than one in your session.
Paguera is one of the best locations for families. The calm, sheltered water is safe for young children to paddle in, and the beaches are not too large or overwhelming. The pine forest is also great for children – plenty of space to run around while we capture natural moments.
Yes – Paguera and Santa Ponça are very close to each other and both offer beautiful, varied backdrops. Combining them in a single extended session gives you the pine-backed beaches of Paguera and the elegant marina of Santa Ponça. Just mention it when you enquire.
Early morning is our first choice – the beaches are quiet, the light is soft and golden, and the pine forest glows beautifully. The evening golden hour is equally lovely, particularly at Playa de Tora. Paguera faces roughly south-west, which means excellent light in the late afternoon and evening.
