Cala d'Or isn't one beach – it's a collection of small coves, each with its own character. Cala Gran, Cala Llonga, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Ferrera – pine trees growing right to the water's edge, white limestone rocks and water in every shade of turquoise and blue. Each one is a perfect natural backdrop.

The largest and most sheltered of the Cala d'Or coves. The pine-covered rocky sides frame the turquoise water beautifully and create a natural, intimate setting for portraits.
Sandy CoveThe elegant marina at Cala d'Or with its white yachts and waterside restaurants offers a stylish, cosmopolitan backdrop – quite different in mood from the natural coves.
HarbourA small, secluded cove with dramatic rocky walls and crystal-clear water. Quieter than Cala Gran, it's perfect for intimate shots and a favourite for couples.
Secluded CoveThe paths connecting the coves wind through fragrant pine forests. Dappled light filters through the trees and creates a warm, soft atmosphere ideal for relaxed walking portraits.

We had such a lovely experience with this team for our maternity photoshoot in Mallorca! From the first contact, everything was super easy and smooth. They recommended a beautiful location based on where we were staying, and gave us all the information we needed to choose the best day and time for the shoot. Each cove has its own character. Cala Gran is the most open and family-friendly. Cala Petit is more intimate and secluded. Cala Llonga offers a longer sandy stretch. The good news is they're all within easy walking distance, so we can visit more than one during your session and get a real variety of backdrops.
Yes, absolutely. The calm, sheltered water in Cala Gran is ideal for families – children can paddle and play while we capture natural, relaxed moments. The paths between the coves are short and easy to walk, so it's very manageable with young children.
Absolutely – that's one of the great things about Cala d'Or. The coves are so close together that combining two or three in a single session is easy and adds a lot of variety to your photos. We'll plan the route to make the most of the available light.
Early morning is our favourite – the coves are quiet, the light is soft and golden, and the water looks its most vivid. The evening golden hour is also beautiful, particularly around the marina and looking out from the rocky edges. We'll recommend the best timing when you book.
