Early morning (7–9 am) the beach is still quiet and the light soft and warm – ideal for relaxed shots. From around 5 pm onwards golden light arrives from the west, perfect for couple and family photos. Midday is best avoided as the light is harsh and the beach at its busiest.
In peak summer at midday it can get crowded. That's why we deliberately choose our time – early in the morning or late afternoon. There are always quieter sections at the north and south ends, even when the main beach is busy.

Cala Millor is not only one of the longest sandy beaches on Mallorca – it is also one of the most versatile for a professional photo shoot. The combination of white sand, turquoise shallow water and a lively holiday atmosphere produces images that instantly look like a Mallorca holiday.
What many people don't realise is that the beach has very different sections. To the north it becomes quieter and more natural; at the southern end it meets the small bay of Cala Bona with its picturesque fishing harbour. Each section has its own character and offers different photographic possibilities.
We have been photographing regularly in Cala Millor since 2009 and know every section at every time of day. And your photos will be in your gallery the very same day.
